Under pressure

Under pressure is a series of photographs created in the Balkan Championship in Powerlifting, bench press, and deadlift which was held in Sarajevo. The photos show a female weightlifter in the moment of the greatest effort during the lifting in the category Deadlift. Although all underestimate this sport, it is very difficult and requires a lot of training while injuries and frequent. While we live in a society where inequality in sport is present in the photographs I wanted to show how the fairer sex after all prepared equally participate in this competition as well as men. These girls broke down world, Balkan and personal records in this competition.
